Smilo.ai is a TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) regulated medical service accessible through this website and the Smilo.ai mobile application (together, the “Platform”).
The Platform allows users to upload images of their teeth and gums. Our machine learning algorithms then analyze these images to produce either:
- An “Oral Health Rating” – highlighting the statistical possibility of the presence or absence of dental decay or gum disease.
- A “Smile Simulation” – outlining cosmetic adjustments showing how a user could potentially change the appearance of their teeth.
By accessing or using our Platform, you acknowledge and agree that you assume all risks associated with your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, the risk of technical incompatibility or potential exposure to device viruses transmitted via third-party integrations or external links.

We emphasize that Smilo.ai does not replace the need for, or reduce the clinical importance of, regular assessments by a qualified dental professional. By using this Platform, you understand and acknowledge that you are advised to seek physical dental consultations for comprehensive evaluations and treatment plans within recommended clinical timeframes.
While automated machine-learning evaluations provide helpful general awareness, algorithm-driven tools have inherent technical limitations. A definitive diagnosis can only be determined through comprehensive, hands-on investigations conducted by a dentist, including physical oral examinations, dental probing, and standard radiography (x-rays).
No Absolute Guarantees & “As Is” Delivery
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that Smilo.ai does not warrant that the services, ratings, or simulations are absolutely accurate, error-free, or delivered within exact guaranteed timelines. All materials, processing results, and services provided through the Platform are delivered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, except to the extent required by Australian Consumer Law.
Any processing speeds or timeframes indicated on our landing page, marketing materials, or within the application are estimates only, and actual turnaround times may vary due to factors outside our reasonable control.
Geographic & Age Restrictions
Smilo.ai is currently configured and registered for use exclusively by individuals residing within Australia. By accessing the Platform, you warrant and agree that:

- You are currently residing in, and accessing the Platform from within, Australia.

Warranties and Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, all statutory warranties, conditions, and liability claims connected to the performance of our Platform, or the services accessed through it, are excluded. By accessing this website or using our application, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Smilo.ai, its directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any loss, damage, legal costs, or structural expenses arising from your access to or misuse of the Platform.
